Modena, Italy / 2022
"There are few natural products, where human intervention is limited and time plays the fundamental part. The Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena is one of these, housed in over 1200 barrels in the Maria Luigia Acetaia. In a world where everything moves so quickly, the balsamic remains still, resting, following the rhythm of the seasons." cf. Massimo Bottura
The vinegar factory is located next to Casa Maria Luigia, owned by Massimo Bottura and Lara Gilmore, in an eighteenth-century portico with numerous contemporary art installations.
The external and internal spaces have been completely reworked to offer a unique experience between smells and flavours. Our lighting solutions accompany the sensory journey.
