Light installation in Pietrasanta
Pietrasanta (LU), Italy / 2020
I always put a little blue.
For Libropolis Festival and Design Weekend, which took place from October 9 to 11, we had the chance to illuminate the church of Sant’Agostino in Pietrasanta.
Sometimes light is instinct, inspiration, courage...
I wanted to enhance the bareness of the place, only highlighting the wall canvases and adding my favourite colour in the apse.
I associate blue with the divine, with light, with the wonderful Giotto.
As symbolic source of life and rigour, our new project Origine had the key role to shed light over the façade.
The cloisters were pervaded by Moon's magical light.
The Design Weekend project was conceived and coordinated by Studio Coronel with the collaboration of 967arch.
