D'Amato Osteria
Arceto, Reggio Emilia, Italy / 2025
In the historical setting of the Castle of Arceto, a medieval 10th-century fortress in the province of Reggio Emilia, now fully restored, D'Amato Osteria is born: a gastronomic project offering a journey through the stories and landscapes of Italian cuisine. Soft, continuous indirect lighting shapes the space from one end of the main hall to the other, while the direct light on the tables becomes an element of conviviality. The indirect illumination enhances the original and structural elements of the environment, creating a harmonious dialogue between past, present, and future.
"Giving a new face to a space rooted in history is a fascinating challenge. You must do not too much but not too little. Finding the right balance is the secret to crossing time. Custom-designed elements, touches of color, and masterful lighting ensure a contemporary, welcoming, and intimate atmosphere." cf. Lo Studio Design
