INCONTROLUCE
For once, we switch off the light to illuminate, and switch it on to tell a story.

Antica Osteria del Teatro
Piacenza, Italy / 2010
A pure, essential space.
Prestigiously frames by the building, an ancient 15th century residence with coffered ceilings and original frescoes on the walls. A noble, nostalgic air is replaced by refined, linear, yet welcoming furnishings. The light was arranged by studying the space and layout of the tables. Moon illuminates the entrance and the counter: it symbolises the peace the chef aims to inspire. Miss light solutions are positioned on the tables in the side rooms, emanating a precise light to enhance the plate and leave the rest in the shadow, inspiring relaxation and intimacy for the guests, separated in authentic islands of light.
