For once, we switch off the light to illuminate, and switch it on to tell a story.

The art and design of the Republican period in the home of the Italians.

We are honoured to announce that our Origine lamp has been selected as one of the contemporary Italian design works that enrich the cultural heritage of the presidential endowment at the Quirinale Palace and at the offices of the Presidency of the Republic, as part of the 2020-2021 edition of the "Quirinale Contemporaneo" project. In particular, two Origine lamps illuminate the room called "Prima Sala di Rappresentanza".

A bud of light.

The "Quirinale Contemporaneo" project, curated by Arch. Renata Cristina Mazzantini, intends to contribute to the representation and narration of a national identity, the Italian one, capable of placing itself in a balance between the preservation of tradition and antiquity and a necessary spirit of innovation and planning for the future.
Having the privilege and the responsibility of representing the country’s excellent crafts and design on such a prestigious occasion is a huge joy and a great reward for all the staff at Davide Groppi, as well as an inspiration for doing even better in future.

A story. A story of light.
